Torque wrench's must be calibrated on a regular basis to ensure their accuracy and longevity. Calibration ensures that the instrument remains compliant with its specified standards and that measurements are as accurate and reliable as possible. Without a calibration, general wear and tear on the tool's internal workings can have a negative impact, potentially resulting in incorrect, and thus unreliable, readings.
